Our father, Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu, was an ardent lover of education. Though he was never opportune to advance his education to a higher institution, he built a massive in-house library where he acquired knowledge and self-development.
Pa Idowu would rather starve than see any child drop out of school. He made education, morality and spirituality conditions for us, his children, to win his heart.
Therefore, this Foundation’s pursuit to sponsor the disadvantaged youths is in furtherance of his vision and hope for those youths, which are: Education, Morality and Spirituality.

The Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in
Nigeria with the primary objective of promoting education and drawing the youths to God.
Reverend Idowu was the founder and first president of Divine Love Gospel Church and former chairman of various religious organizations,
including CAN, PFN, OGN etc (Read Biography).
He was a lover of quality education and served God whole-heartedly.
Hence, this foundation is in furtherance of his service to man and to God. Our structure is tripartite consisting of the BoT (Board of Trustees),
the Working Committee and the Sponsors. The BoT sets the tone, the Sponsors provide funding, and the Working Committee executes.
Our vision is to contribute to breeding the next generation of transformational leaders who would positively impact their communities and pass on the grace and kindness to the generations after them.
Our mission is a commitment towards improving the lives and morals of Nigerian academic youths with gradual and measurable progress that will result in impactful leadership roles and the consequent opportunities.

This will be an annual repeatable program (running from mid-year to the 3rd quarter of the year)

The candidates will receive their results only through the internet portal at www.reverendidowufoundation.com
Must be between 16 and 23 years of age (evidence of age MUST be provided)
Must sign an undertaking to achieve, at least, a 2:1 (Second Class Upper Division) grade year on year
Must achieve WAEC/NECO or GCE 5 Credits Passes
A credit in English and Mathematics is a MUST
Must pass the JAMB exam
Must pass the pre-admission school/university exam
MUST HAVE AN ADMISSION LETTER FROM A REPUTABLE UNIVERSITY (No Polytechnics please)
MUST PASS THE PREQUALIFICATION EXAM SET BY THE FOUNDATION
Admission letter MUST be from a public university (i.e., Unilag, UniIbadan, UniJos, OOU etc.)
